We are delighted to announce the full Road Squad of the 2026 season; with 3 riders retained from last seasons squad and a 9 new faces joining the squad we are so excited to get going!
We want to thank and wish all the best to all of the departing riders; Dan Hanbidge, Simon Collins, Matthew Mernin and Lou Johnson. Myles, Carlo and Luca are continuing in the 2025 colours under the League RT banner – being backed by Swindon Cycles under the new participation-enabling and localised program!
As we have now moved our focus towards National racing, with Nat A’s and B’s on our initial plans; 2x Para National Champion Joe Bearman, Mattia Righetto & Will Scapelhorn all are on our retained list for the road squad – however we have introduced 9 new faces to represent League-Fortè Chiropractic Cycling Team. Cian Bryant(C2), William Tavener(C2), Ben Waghorn(C2), Ludo Hirst(C2), Tom Womack(C3), Patrick Furze(C3). We’ve also strengthened with 3 very talented and experienced riders firstly with local legend Gary Paddon, fresh from his ORRL series victory, besting our lead Joe, to the GC title. Matt Witts; brings his wealth of high level racing not only from within the peloton but also the organising of a team as he owned and ran Defined racing previously. And finally, Frank Kilsby, a very popular rider who brings a wealth of talent and experience with him from TAAP of road and track cycling.
We are really excited by this team – we have been able to bring youth and raw talent together with experience and knowledge of the domestic racing scene which we are confident will result in some fantastic stories to come!
